As the holiday season fast approaches and we as a community prepare to pause yet again for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and give thanks for all we have received, I want to take this time to acknowledge the men and women of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for their contributions to our success.  I believe we have some of the most dedicated deputies and administrative and civilian staff in the history of our office. I want to thank each and every one of them for their hard work and encourage you to do the same when you see them. 

 

I would also like to acknowledge our community for their tremendous support and efforts in helping to make Jefferson County a safer place to live and raise a family. We appreciate your input and assistance and are happy to know our website is so important to so many of you.

 

As we look forward to the holiday season and prepare to celebrate this Christmas, let us stay in prayer that our nation will soon be healed. Let us also pray that justice will come to all people, no matter their circumstance or their religions.

 

My commitment to the citizens of this County remains strong, and I will continue to work with the members of our community to improve the quality of life for each of you.
