JCSO INVESTIGATORS ARREST SECOND SUSPECT IN CONNECTION TO JAIL CONTRABAND:  On January 27, 2025, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) Investigators arrested the second suspect wanted for introducing contraband into the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center (DBDC) on January 18, 2025. The person arrested bas been identified as 33-year-old Delord Shepard.

Shepard was identified as one of two individuals who came to the DBDC on January 18, 2025, and introduced contraband material into the facility. The other individual, 43-year-old Clifton Eugene Tucker was arrested on January 24, 2025.

Shepard was booked into the DBDC on the charge of A.C.A. 5-54-119 Furnishing Prohibited Articles and will appear before court for a probable cause hearing at a later date.
